Tile.ai
formerly TileDB
Tile.ai is the Enterprise AI Data Substrate — a governed layer that sits alongside the data and applications you already use, activating them in place for your AI.
Enterprise AI isn’t stalling for lack of models or ambition. It stalls because the data layer underneath is fragmented — spread across files, databases, software systems, instruments, and cloud services, hard to govern and hard for AI to reach. Tile.ai solves this where the data already lives: rather than consolidating everything into a new system, it makes that data discoverable, governed, and usable, so AI agents and applications can find it, access it, and use it responsibly.
Our missionWe help enterprises activate all of their data, wherever it lives — and surface the insights they’d otherwise miss.
Built by the team behind the open-source TileDB universal array storage engine, Tile.ai is in production at leading life sciences and healthcare organizations.
